What you concentrate on and take deliberate steps toward becoming a reality is more likely to become a reality.

Is your life wheel balanced, or does something need to be adjusted?
Next, identify the values that will serve as your North Star.
Do you place a high value on your family, career, and money? Or how about travel, adventure, and freedom?
How do your values influence your decisions?
Finally, devote some time to positive thinking. In the Best Possible Self exercise, use your imagination by responding to reflective writing prompts.
Who did you want to be when you were a kid? Who are you these days? Is it the same or a new version?
Consider when you were most energized, engaged, and alive. What was it about that period that energized you? What was important at that time?
Take a piece of that moment and imagine the desired future state. Attempt to recreate the same level of excitement and emotional intensity.
Consider your current location and what you are doing. Who is in your vicinity? Think, what are your thoughts? Exactly what are the smells in the air and the tastes on your tongue?
So what were your thoughts at the time? It is possible if you believe in your thoughts. It is not if you do not.
You’re ready to begin visualization practice now that you know what matters most to you and why.
Techniques and tools for visualization: learn how to practice visualization.
Learning visualization can be challenging. Here are five tools and techniques you can use to successfully practice visualization:
1. Make a vision board.
This visualization tool consists of a collection of images and words that both inspire and represent your goals. It is a visual representation of what you want to accomplish.
Place your board in an area where you will see it every day. You’ll be constantly reminded of what you’re working towards this way.
2. Follow along with a guided visualization meditation.
There are numerous free guided meditation videos on YouTube.
An interactive visualization can assist you in relaxing and devoting time to your goals. Guided imagery provides you with something to focus on.
3. Make use of index cards
Do you recall using flashcards as a child? You could have used them to learn math or words.
As adults, we can similarly use index cards as a visualization tool.
Make a list of 10 or 20 goals you’re currently pursuing. Each one should be written on an index card and kept near your bed.

Exposing yourself to things related to your goals can help you make them more tangible.
Perhaps one of your objectives is to go parachuting. It’s difficult to imagine what it’s like if you’ve never done it before.
View videos of other people parachuting. Read online accounts of people who have parachuted.
Talk to people who have done it before. All of these things will increase your understanding of it and make it seem more real to you.
Try one of the visualization techniques listed above. Your focused attention will be focused on achieving your vision.
